Hi Nial,

Great points you made today — as per usual. Especially liked your “printed affirmations” (self stimulators). I have a whole host of them that I wrote and which linked to the alphabet, various colors, numbers, coins, shapes and so forth. Feel repetition is the glue (cement?) that can help us develop heathy trading habits.

This is a very good article offering sound advice.

An additional piece of advice I would like to add regarding as to whether you should take a trade if you have nagging doubts about it is simply this. Do not take the trade. It is far better to miss a winning trade and lose nothing as opposed to taking it, being proved right and incurring a loss.

Yes Nial, how right you are, it is very easy to forget some times and end up jumping in to a bad trade, I actualy have been using the post it notes for a wile now they are effective specialy if you plaster them on the wall in front of you.

Using printed affirmations:

I have been using the text tool in Windows Paint to write up short Forex trading reminders and saving them in a folder which I use as screensavers so I can watch when I am taking a coffee break. I know it is working.
